We offer PVC-free and plastic-free products in our portfolio and don’t use lead. We minimize the use of conflict minerals and increase the amount of recyclable materials in our products. We increase the use of power harvesting technology and use FSC-certified papers for tickets, labels and packaging where possible.
We reduce the amount of printed documentation, water and electricity consumption and CO2 emissions within our supply chain. We increase and improve the efficiency of travel. Our products and services support sustainable, efficient operations in toll collection business, public transport, traveling experience and factory automation as well as improve inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain efficiency.
Our goal is to assume a leadership role in our business regarding sustainability and promote sustainable practices and initiatives with ecosystem partners. We engage actively in research consortiums for new and more sustainable product technologies and develop business partnerships and models that will increase sustainability.
We ensure and support safety and health in factories and offices as well as home offices. By enabling flexible working hours and remote working options we make sure people’s personal and professional lives are in balance. Inclusion, diversity, and equality are valued and respected. Competences and individual professional development are supported and evaluated.
We develop short-to mid-term strategies, cost structures, and financing structures for sustainable growth. Our 3-year plan includes creating and implementing board, finance management, and management teamwork practices. We ensure that customer ethics are upheld among suppliers and partners as well. We analyze and improve the raw material and resource usage in the development of products, production, and supply chain of goods.
Confidex is already taking direct actions to support the causes that mean a lot to us. Our previous Green Tuesday campaign has helped making the Baltic Sea cleaner with donations.
Now we move to larges scale and take part in the Ocean Cleanup Project. For every purchase made by our partners Nov 30–Dec 5, we donate 3% for cleaning up the floating plastics caught swirling in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
